Originally named Augsburg Fairview Academy for Health Careers and established by a partnership between Augsburg College and Fairview Health Services in order to provide traditionally under-served urban students a first-hand view of Health Care Careers; during the 2007 – 2008 school year we shortened our name to Augsburg Fairview Academy and expanded our focus to include Social Work, Education and other caring careers. We have increased the ways that we support our students, including credit recovery for older students who may not be on track for graduation, and the addition of our Social Work Department, Indian Education Program and Work Based Learning Program.
