Augsburg Fairview Academy prepares students for college, career and life after high school. We provide students with an intense program of rigorous study and real-world connections to health care, education, and other human services. Students are able to take part in PSEO at Minneapolis Community & Technical College, and our partnership with Augsburg College provides students with $2,000 off of tuition for every year they are enrolled at AFA, and eligible students are also able to participate in the Power of You scholarship program.
At school, students take a College & Career Readiness class, visit local colleges and attend our Native American College Fair. Our Work Based Learning Program grants school credit for working and volunteering to eligible students, and assists students in finding employment and volunteer opportunities. Students also participate in quarterly Career Fairs, including Trade & Hospitality Careers, Health & Helping Careers, Business & STEM Careers and Summer Jobs.
