NOTICE OF ELECTION AND OFFICIAL BALLOT
CALL FOR SCHOOL BOARD NOMINATIONS
AUGSBURG FAIRVIEW ACADEMY
Four seats on the Augsburg Fairview Academy School Board shall be filled in the school’s upcoming election of new Directors. Director seats are for two-year terms. Newly elected Directors will assume office on July 1, 2026, along with three Directors whose term runs for another year.
Open Seats: Two open seats are reserved for licensed teachers currently employed by AFA. The remaining seats are reserved as follows:
- one for the parent of a currently enrolled student
- one for a community representative
Interested persons must submit a written notice of intent to be a candidate for election and include an updated résumé. This notice must be mailed to Vasileios (Bill) Serefeas, AFA Board President, 3109 East 50th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55417, or emailed to Vasileios (Bill) Serefeas at vasileios.serefeas@afa.tc or to Heidi E Anderson at heidi.anderson@afa.tc.
All intent notices must be received by 11:59pm on November 19, 2025. Candidates will be requested to submit a brief biography before ballots are sent out, but this need not accompany the notice of intent.
An information session about the AFA Board and the election will be held at the school on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM via Google Meet. Additional times are available upon request.

Election ballots will be available for pick up for all eligible voters on December 15, 2025.
The election will be held at the school on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
